Our popular BDS Centre of Excellence student competition at the 2022 VM and Display Show demonstrates our commitment to help launch today’s new talent in VM. Students showed how they can create new, inspiring displays, even on a budget, which is crucial in today’s retail market. We will be holding another student competition at the 2023 show, so come and meet the team and see the talented students.
Supporting new talent is an important part of the BDS, but we also offer our own distance learning courses for those seeking a new career, to refresh skills or retail in-house training.
BDS individual and corporate members value the benefits of membership and often engage with our student support programme to help promote the next generation. Networking at these events such as the VM and Display Show is key to keeping up to date with trends and companies.
